I suppose the glut of activities in the media is what's keeping me from enjoying my normal lunchtime reading. Curse you Borat, Donald Rumsfeld, Britney Spears and the Republicrat Party.
Things are really, really quiet in my normal haunts. Somebody write something before I have to go back to work, or, I will be forced to watch this couple here in Panera argue loudly.
Some of it's not in English, and, I'm totally missing the topic, but, boy he is pissed off. She's not taking any crap from him though. They did, however, take a break to go order food and it went something like this:
The scene: He is waiting quietly at the table across from me. She walks in the door, and, before she even gets to her seat:
Him: "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?!"
Her: "Well, blah blah blah blah BLAH!" (Insert language I do not understand, possibly Russian)
Him: "I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT YOU BLAH BLAH BLAH, Hey, do you want a salad? AND THE DEADLINE WAS MONDAY!!!"
Her: 'Yeah, BUT THIS EVENING blah blah blah BLAH I'll go get it, do you want a drink?"
Him: "OK, I'll wait, BUT NEXT TIME YOU SHOULD BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH."
See, what you've made me do? I get all the way down here, set up my computer and I have to resort to observing real live people instead of the ones inside the screen.
Of course, there's always the possibility that no one is visiting here because I still can't think of a damn thing to write.

I'll try to think of something to write about that's not politics or Borat. It might be about the cat because that's all I got left.
I've been gone all day. Heard the news about Rumsfeld, but completely missed Brit & Kev's break-up. What a shock. My evening is now completely ruined.
Well, maybe not.
...perhaps another knicker flashing video on how not to show your knickers while arguing in a foreign languge an not spilling your food?
('just a suggestion) *smile*
TGIW!!!
Sorry, I"m having writer's block, too.
Found your blog through another, and loved the layout.
Blogs lately have been sort of slow, haven't they?
Ah, c'mon, didn't we all silently predict the Brit/K-Fed divorce was gonna happen. I think she just wanted kids and wanted to do it the Louisiana way instead of the Hollywood way...you know, being married BEFORE the kid is born. Did you also read that their big wedding that was covered in People was a "faux" wedding and they actually got married in October?
You have no one to blame but yourself.... you sent us all to atomictumor, remember? Tragic as it is, he inspired me to write... very depressing stuff though. I'm working on something a little more uplifting.
Seriously, I ditto Nicole. I am stalking atomic tumor, praying for good news. And I have been on a posting roll (roll of crap though) plus I have the news site if you get REALLY bored.
I always get the best blog thoughts from people wathcing....
that's just me.
I have been absorbed in electionville myself the past 36 hrs or so. Hope to come up for air tomorrow. Did manage to hear about the Brit/K-Fed tragedy.
I'll tell you what; spend about, oh, seven hours a day with two or three Russian kids who speak Russian to each other, and you'll very quickly start picking up on what they're saying (or else realize that facial expressions and vocal intonations are the same in any language, and thus deduce what they are saying.)
Trust me, it works.
Panera is totally the best place to chill out, get some work done (free WiFi!), and people watch. At work, we go there all the time ...
Apparently plenty of people are visiting, since you've had 11 comments after not being able to think about what to write =)
"Borat to you"
snort.
That is SO funny! This is why I keep coming back to your blog.
hey, thanks for the heads-up over at Atomic Tumor. I'm so glad to see some sort of recovery going on over there...that was close. And, she's definitely not home-bound yet, but it is sounding much better now.
Here's a link to the post of a fellow TN blogger. I thought you would enjoy comment number four, seeing as how you're so brave and all
