Panic! At the disk-o!

OK, no one panic.

My laptop is ADR (Ain't Doin' Right).

Bad wireless device driver. Bad driver, bad driver. Down boy..

Must. Have. Laptop. Even if it means downloading the update on dial-up since 2 pieces of pumpkin pie didn't do anything for the situation.

If you need me, I'll be by the phone watching the damn thing download 1 kb at a time.

UPDATE: You may commence with panic. Freezes up when connecting to the wireless network, or, shortly thereafter. No viruses or adware as far as I can tell.

UPDATE PART DEUX: Laptop: Sofa King messed up. Me: Very not happy

I m having exactly the same problem. It seemed to start when I trid to sign on to Bloglines, although that may be totally off base.

Oh NO!! I was without computer for 3 days and went through the worst withdrawal.

I'm sending good computer ju-ju thoughts to you and hoping that the problem resolves itself!

Backup, nuke, pave, reload, restore. It is the way of windows.

After nearly losing it all, I bought a 60 GB HD at Best Buy for about $60 that's a little bigger than a deck of cards. Instant backup on my mac.

When you start losing pronouns, Emerson becomes concerned.

BACK UP, GIRL!!! BACK UP!!!!

The worst is when you DON'T back up and you lose everything. Save yourself and save the computer later!

I did panic this morning when I couldn't get your site to open but then the day quickly greeted me and I took a shower and am JUST NOW getting back to the 'puter. Glad all is well!

I had a piece of key-lime pie. Did that help you?

uh oh...it sounds bad. Should we send reinforcements?

ya gotta get a mac . . . .

Call the Geek Squad. My laptop is acting funny, and I'm about to recruit a co-worker who is IT proficient to help, but I know the Geek Squad is pretty good. Of course, my friend took his laptop to them, only to find out it was on it's last limb, and was read to be read it's final rites. RIP laptop, it's been sitting in a corner dying a slow death for 4 months now. How can one go on without their laptop, and not have a breakdown?!

I feel your pain, my laptop is actually broken, and has to be repaired. I am going out of my mind just using the PC, and sharing it with my daughter, who needs it for homework, etc.. Maybe I'll call the Geek Squad too.
