Thanks for all the nice Thanksgiving wishes!
We are home after our annual trip to Busy Dad's family Thanksgiving where kids play by the side of the road and food is plentiful as you may remember from years past.
This year had the added twist of my father joining us as this is our first holiday since my mother died in July. He was duly warned, and, chose to go anyway. It was actually pretty uneventful except for the rugby ball getting stuck on the roof.
My mystery illness has turned into what seems to be a full-on cold. Oddly enough, it's transformation has alleviated the can't breathe thing and the feeling that I'm drowning in my own mucous (oh, come on, you know you ate too much and you needed that description to keep you from eating even more).
Just thought you needed to know.
I apparently still have a road buzz going on, I'm making no sense.

Happy Thanksgiving BM - though I could have gotten by w/o the breathing description. I'm already nauseous from morning sickness, topped off by food-poisoning the day BEFORE Thanksgiving...which actually had the somewhat beneficial (if you want to call limiting myself to ONE piece of pumpkin pie beneficial) effect of limiting my food-intake.
Don't worry - I'm sure I'll make up for it between now and Christmas!
Thanks for the laugh Busy Mom, I will keep that mental picture in my head the next time I go to eat ANOTHER piece of leftover pie (LOL)!
