A Wiggly illness

Just a follow-up to the Greg Page (Yellow Wiggle) thing yesterday. His illness has been revealed as Orthostatic Intolerance.

Though certainly not as ominous as it was speculated to be, it must be quite debilitating if he can no longer perform. I hope they are able to help him soon.

Updated: Here's Greg's message (has sound)

That is a pretty high stress job too.. I mean, I know that might sound silly, but performing and traveling like that will put quite a toll on a person. Not that I know as my exercise consists of moving the laptop from the chair to the sofa. I wonder if he sold out to the other guy? I am insanely curious to the set up. Maybe he will remain as an "advisor" of some sort? Seriously, I need to go to bed.

I can vouch for the fact that the life of a traveling musician/performer is extremely taxing and can make you old. It's not the actual onstage part that's so hard, that's the easier and funner part, it's all the other crapola that goes with it. It sounds glamorous and "fun" but it's a job.
