Can we make volcanoes for college credit?

Busy Boy was telling me how he didn't ever want to leave home to go to college. I assured him that when it was time for him to go that he'd feel differently.

Busy Boy: "I don't think so, can you home-college me?"

Having a college senior who chose NOT to "home-college," I'm drooling as I think of all the money you could save.

Then again, I do wonder what prospective employers will think when they see his diploma was produced in PrintShop by his mom.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHA!

Tell him he can get a {gross animal of choice} when he goes to college. Once I told Porter he could get a naked mole rat when he moved out, he was off to find his suitcase.

He will want to go when the time is right... Of course with all of the online courses he might not!

I'm thinking the homing unschooling college might be an answer, where the 'child' chooses what they wish to learn about as long as it involved getting a weekly check and 30 to 40 hours of labor.

You know my baby was never gonna leave either. And then I just woke up this morning and here she is married and a mom and has a mortgage on a house nicer than mine. Of course half the furniture in it was pilfered from my house, so I guess she still feels like she's at home!

Home - college. Love it!

Maybe you can start a trend.

Home-College. I think that is what we already have. Classes on campus that empty our bank account. Empty refrigerator on account that college is too close to home.

As a homeschooling mom, I love it.
