Walkin' 'round in women's underwearSista said I had to take this Chicago Tribune Christmas Carol quiz. So, I did.
I missed 2. How about you?
In other news, I have eaten my body weight in haystacks. But, it's OK. I am drinking a Diet Coke.

Missed 1 here... that darn obscure verse to Jingle Bells!
Well, I guess this proves how ubiquitous the christmas music is, because I got 60% right, and I don't know shit about Christmas carols. I guess all that background music has sunk in to this nice Jewish girl's thick head after all! I was quite surprised to see I knew as much as I did.
I missed one and it's because I didn't actually sing the carol through in my head. Falalalala indeed!
Maybe I should go try that haystacks recipe.
Missed 3!
Geez! All those brains. I missed slightly MORE THAN HALF OF THEM. Christmas is not my thing, I reckon.
I got 7 wrong, ick! Guess I need to brush up on my Christmas songs!
I got 7 wrong. Guess it's time to brush up on my Christmas carols!
missed four...haystacks are the best, fast, easy xmas candy ever!
Dontcha love how Diet Coke negates all those calories? Or at least the guilt ...
I also missed two. Good King Wenseslas, and something about an asbestos teddy...
btw- everyone knows diet-coke not only doesn't add calories, it negates the ones you include in the meal
;-)
Haystacks are a Christmas tradition at the Smiffs. Love them things. My mom used to make another kind of candy at Christmas. Maybe it was Buckeyes. It was choclate with peanut butter in it and I don't know what else. Dang, they were good.
I used to sing Christmas Carols in high school and college. I never did know much about them...I hummed most of the verses.
Got 2 wrong - apparently I don't know what the kids in Girl and Boy Land will have, nor do I know what sweet silver bells seem to say.
By the way, dinner tonight was red hots and orange balls, so I sympathize. Haystacks would have been a nice complement.
yea, that diet coke'll eliminate the chocolate chips calories, fo sho!
Missed 4. Good King Wenceslas, Carol of the Bells (which I only ever hear instrumentally) and a couple other obscure ones. Got off my butt this weekend and made peanut butter blossoms (peanut butter cookies with the Hershey kisses in the center) and have proceeded to eat my body weight in them, too. They are very very yummy.
I missed two too. And did NOT expect to do that well so that was a big surprise!!
My grandmother always made butterscotch haystacks. Good lord, I could eat those until I died from gorging myself and die happy.
I missed one. Stupid bells and their caroling ways. It's a song no one ever sings...it's the CAROL OF THE BELLS! Oh well. Enjoy your haystacks.
I only got 60% right... I guess it really was my wisdom tooth they took out.
I've never had Haystacks. In fact, now that I think about it, I've never heard of them before. I think I'll make some for our family Christmas party on Saturday.
You and me both sister!
