Mall talkThough we are actually further ahead on this Christmas preparation thing than usual, I still need to make a trip to the one mall you don't want to have to go to this time of year.
You know the one, yours has a different name than mine does, but, it's really all the same. It's the one where, when you tell someone you're going there, they look at you with concern, and, say, "You're nuts".
Off to the Fool Brings Galleria for me!

I have to go to our new shopping area today after work "Mrovidence" . Still have 4 gifts to pick up. Next year - no Christmas for me. Remind me of this next year.

Yup...yer nuts. That place is a living nightmare...and this is when I saw it LAST week. I can't imagine what it looks like today.
We're actually finished, even to the fruit I need to make fruit salad for tomorrow's brunch.

Yes, you are foolish for venturing to this mall to shop....however, you are lucky enough to not live out here! My commute to downtown Nash-vegas doubles every Christmas season.
I went to Tar-jay in that general vicinity today and it was nuts. I may have to go to Toys R Us tomorrow. Not looking forward to that!
I hope you have a successful shopping trip and reward yourself with some sort of drink later tonight.
Oh man... you should have gone early this morning!!! I posted about the same trip - and dreading it - but I checked the mall website and saw they were opening at 8:00 am.
I loaded up 2 of the kids (who still had shopping to finish) and we were there by 8:45. IT WAS AWESOME!
The parking lot was nearly empty as everyone thought the mall opened around 10:00. Stores were almost emtpy... the halls were bare... it was so pleasant!
I only had to wait behind 1 person in American Eagle, no waiting at Victoria's Secret (HAVE YOU EVER EVER EVER SEEN THAT HAPPEN BEFORE!???) 1 person in front of me Starbucks.
Dude... my condolences that you didn't venture out at 8:45 am. I hope you survive your trip today. I'd hate to see you dead for Christmas... killed by stupid grumpy rude people. LOL.
You know, Plato's Closet gift cards make great gifts for teens and pre-teens. There is even a great one in Fool Brings ;)
Um, yeah, good luck. I went to Rivergate today and although I'm sure it wasn't as bad as "Fool Brings", it was bad enough. I will venture out to the grocery later today, we'll see how that goes. Happy Shopping!
I made the mistake of going there this afternoon for something that can wait til after Christmas. Never again, unless it is after 8 PM tonight.
I was there Thursday, and it wasn't terrible. The traffic between the mall and the interstate, though? Nuts.
exactly my words to my mom when she told me she was going there on saturday, 2 days before christmas. I said, you must be insane.
