Banned BuzzwordsFinally! I have support for my disdain for the phrase "gone missing".
Yes, it's that time of year again, Lake Superior State University publishes the 32nd annual List of Words Banished from the Queen's English for Mis-Use, Over-Use and General Uselessness.
I'm also doing a little jig over the fact that "We're pregnant" is banned for 2007.
It's going to be awesome when the list is now playing in theaters.

My buzzwords went missing!
Well, that's what I heard on the ground.
I'd like to ban "leaked by anonymous sources at the white house" but that just keeps popping up, doesn't it?

For the working moms out there I'd like to banish the word "balance."
Personally I'm sick of "synergy", "b*tch" (I really hate that word!) and "nice".
