The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby is spending the night with Busy Boy in Busy Boy's newly rearranged room.
Busy Dad was lying down in there with both of them, and, The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby was having a hard time falling asleep.
Meanwhile, Busy Girl, who stayed up studying, got in the shower late this evening.
Upon exiting the bathroom, she was surprised to run into The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby on his way into the bathroom with a water glass.
Busy Girl: "What are you doing up? Isn't Daddy in there with you?"
The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby: (matter of factly, and, continuing on his way to the bathroom) "Yeah, but, it's OK, I got them both to sleep."

Glad to see PSFKABB is doing his share. Maybe tomorrow, you can get him started on the laundry for you or something.
That had to be the funniest little story ever! I can picture the preschooler (I'm the mom of 8, 5 & twin 2 1/2). Love it! Thanks for sharing!!!

That's pretty much the unwritten rule around here - if an adult attempts to outlast a small child in the battle to get to sleep, adult will always lose. Always. We have yet to outlast them in that game.
Aww, bless his heart! So cute!
Good thing he has everything under control - we could have used him around our place last night!
So, are you renting him out? Cuz Emma is just now learning to sleep in her toddler bed and we could definitely use a little help from The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby.
That is too cute. He's obviously the man in charge!
Similar thing happened to me back when my daughter would take naps. Apparently one time, I fell asleep and she didn't. She proceeded out of the bedroom and into her room to start playing. (they are connected by a closet). When my wife her her playing she came in and asked her "what's going on" and she shushed her saying, "I put Daddy down for his nap"
