Like moths to a lightbulbI realize this isn't much of an entry, but, since I am not blessed with children who are cuddly and quiet when they are sick, and, my entire family is attracted to my being seated at a keyboard like moths to a light bulb, I can't do anything I need to do.
Let's see, before they come back, I'll tell you that the movie Sister Act always makes me happy. Has it really been 15 years since that came out? Wow.

I so understand the moth to a light bulb situation. (Sick or not), when I sit down at my computer, my daughter at that moment decides she needs hugs and cuddles, and it is almost always then that TheWife needs me to do something for her.
Yep, know the feeling, Just blogged on something similar: http://www.freakedoutfathers.com/2007/01/12/a-day-in-the-life-of-a-work-from-home-dad-during-school-holidays/
- hope you can distract them long enough to get another post done.
Sister Act is a great movie. Love the 2nd one too. What can I say...I'm a sap :)
Synchronicity!
I actually DVRd Sister Act last night (we were out busy going broke), and we're watching it today.
I just thought it was about time the kids saw that movie. What a weird coincidence.
My kids LOVE that movie.
Just please, please don't sing Sister Act's version of "Joyful, Joyful" or "Hail Holy Queen" or I might go jump off a bridge. I play the piano at a Catholic All-Girls High School and they LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these songs. They think they're high art, which, after 15 years, I think I can safely (and snobishly) say that their time is past. :)
