One rhyming word away from a totally different meaningThe Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby saw a small duck when we were on the way to school:
The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby: "Look! A baby duck!"
Me: "I didn't see him, did he have a Mommy and Daddy with him?"
The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby: "No, they ducked off."

Somebody told it to "Shut the duck up!"
Ha!
at least he's one rhyming word away! my oldest is actually SAYING the bad word. we are doing the whole "ignore her when she says it so that she gets bored with it since she's not getting a rise out of us" method. but it's been over a month. clearly it's not working.
duck!
That one deserves a drum roll and cymbal crash. I expect this youngster to be doing standup in the school cafeteria before the age of ten.
duckin' a man! hilarious!
Now that is funny!!
Pffft!
The dumb ducks used up all their luck and had to tuck their heads under their wings in shame. They should have bucked the trend and rode a truck so they wouldn't have lost their baby duck (whose name is Chuck). After all, he was just chasing the puck that Huck hit into the muck. YUCK!
Ha!Love it!

Hahaha! Reminds me of a t-shirt I once saw, Duck the Fodgers. I guess she really hated LA.
I just love what preschoolers can say. So innocent and so much fun to see the puzzled looks they give as Mommy and Daddy start laughing.
