Charge!

I hereby declare that all houses built from right now onward should have a room consisting solely of electrical outlets for charging various and assorted electronics, and, space for storing batteries of all sizes.

I'm also thinking about starting a AA battery delivery business.

Everyone just places a standing order, and, your supply is delivered each week. Emergency delivery available 24 hours for a fee.

Whatever charges busy mom up is good by me.

Oh, look at that electrical wheel spin.

I recently wired my closet for electricity (ie ran an extension cord) and now I devote a shelf to charging things.

Doesn't help much with the AA problem, though.

Right now, I'd just be thankful for more than one set of outlets in each bedroom. I can dream, can't I? ;)

Could you also please declare that all kitchens must have multiple outlets? You know, besides the ones that are inaccessible because they are behind the fridge and the stove? Cuz I would really appreciate being able to use a freakin' mixer without having to take it into the dining room.

I agree! We actually have a lot of outlets in our tiny apartment, but since I live with a computer science major---I only have possesion of one power strip. Go figure :)

battery delivery is brilliant. like gevalia!

I think you're brilliant!!!

Ooh. I love the idea of a closet with a shelf for charging things. Since I can't have a room only for charging things and storing batteries, I should at least have a shelf in a closet. Right?

I like it! Like NetFlix....

Reminds me, I need to charge the cell phone!!

If I build a hose, it's gotta have outlets every three feet, no matter what the cost. Also a kitchen with enough counterspace that a food processor and a two slice toaster don't eat it all up.
