Little Gold CorvetteWe were trying to wake The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby for school this morning, but, he was really sawing logs.
Busy Dad picked him up, we tried talking to him, but, nothing was working, he was still obviously snoozing, and, not pretending.
I leaned down and whispered, "Good morning, it's time to get up. We'll buy you a car when you're 16."
His eyes flew open, and, he said: 'Can I get a gold Corvette?"

That NEVER works at our house. I'm usually trying to get them INTO bed, though. I've offered cars, dinosaurs and gold mines to get them to fall asleep at night and they just aren't interested.
