That's another problem altogether

Busy Boy (10) has been up too late at night for several days.

One morning, he felt really bad because he was so tired, so, I said, OK, tonight you'll be in bed by 7:30".

Of course, when the time came to go to bed, he protested loud and long.

Busy Boy: "But, WHYYYYYYYY?"
Me: "Remember how you felt this morning? That's because you didn't get enough sleep.
Busy Boy: It's not fair! I get PLENTY of sleep at school, why do I have to go to bed now?"

I used to get plenty sleep at work too....!

Thus echoed several work associates lately.

That so sounds like something Thing 1 would say.

I'm liking the sound of that school...

Can I sign my daughter up for that school?

To all interested moms out there:

I would like to invite you to participate in a research study of parenting views and practices. Dr. Kim White-Mills and Dr. Catherine Dobris of IUPUI (both are moms) are interested in understanding what sources parents find useful in their parenting practices, how parents use different parenting information, and what views parents across the county hold regarding parenting issues.

To access this survey, go to http://www.iupui.edu/~momviews/

Oh my goodness! lol
How can you argue that logic?

NtycnBoricua - Mami Dearest

I have the same issue with Snow White. One night she went to bed at 8pm and woke up at 6am. She commented on how wonderful the morning was when she wasn't so tired. That night she said "But it's only 9pm. Why oh why must I go to bed so early?" Let me know how it works out. I need help too {big smiles}

LOL! and so the truth comes out! My goodness. I am so surprised that the school has not called you yet to tell you that your son has been sleeping in class.

That's cute. Wonder if it's true, huh?

My son fell asleep at school yesterday. It must be "going around" everywhere!

I received a call from school one day after my son had a restless nigh and refused breakfast. This woman wanted to know why my son came to school without being fed breakfast. She also told me he was napping in the nurses room due to lack of sleep. I was appauled they actually let him sleep in school and took him out of home room for a special breakfast! I offered him 5 different breakfasts. I staid up with him all night trying to get him to sleep but with no real affect. I thought, OK he will be tired tonight and will sleep. He would also remember going to school snubbing all breakfast and remember to eat before leaving in the morning. No, all that was undone by them having a special time for only him to have breakfast and allowing him to sleep during a few classes at school.
