How *you* doin'?

I found myself at Norbit last evening.

Don't. Just, don't.

There's a reason the trailer is, "Have you ever made a really big mistake?"

Yes, going to that movie.

OK, there were a couple of funny moments, and, the best part was the pimps ("Pope Sweet Jesus", and, "Lord Have Mercy" heh).

For parents, it's PG-13, but, it's still a bit inappropriate, and, I have a pretty high tolerance for such things.

I can't wait to see Blades of Glory.

I'm looking forward to "Blades of Glory" too (though I'm not sure why). Maybe it's so we can continue our tradition of going to a goofy Will Ferrel movie in the spring? :D

I don't understand seeing *another* will ferrel comedy. Once you've seen one, you've seen them all. It's like buying more than one Boston album...redundant.

Now the 300? That's friggin' cool. If it had any more testosterone, the SCREEN would have started growing hair.

My fiancee said "It wasn't as bloody as I thought it would be, and two hours of tasty, muscular man-flesh all over the screen? Yes please, thank you, more?"

My comment: "a bunch of guys running around in speedos, red capes, and go-go boots, NOT looking like the staging area for a Pride parade? Now THAT is some acting."

Man, the last movie we saw in a theater was "Everyone's Hero" last fall, and before that, I think it was "Finding Nemo".

So, you're saying I shouldn't waste my every-3-year movie treat on this one, eh?

We'll forgive you your bad movie choice...sometimes we knowingly indulge in a bad movie so that we can remind ourselves of what good film is, and also there's that gallon of movie popcorn to tuck into. If you haven't already seen Running with Scissors, rent it tomorrow...see my review here
If nothing else, you'll feel damn good about your own familial dysfunction.

I don't understand why Eddie Murphy just wastes his talent on doing movies in drag and in fat suits. Yes, he was brilliant in Coming to America but after a dozen fat suit movies you'd think he'd give it up.

OMG, Emma has been counting down the days until 'Blades of Glory' comes out. It does look pretty funny!

Norbitt looked too much like Eddie's remake of "The Nutty Professor" with him playing all the characters, so admittedly, the thought of going to see it never crossed my mind... thanks for taking that bullet though ;)

I was looking forward to Shrek The Third... until I found out that King Arthur is voiced by Justin Timberlake.

So now I am holding out hope that Meet The Robinsons doesn't stink too bad.

How does one "find" themselves in a theater watching Eddie Murphy movies anymore? He should've stopped at Raw. Anyway, thanks for talking me out of this one!

Uh...confession. I think Norbit looks hilarious (but exceedingly stupid.) But I could use a flick like that!

Oh, and Blades of Glory? I'm there. We loved Talladega Nights.

Confession #1: I let my 12 year old son see Norbit, and h LOVED it. 12 year old humor, I guess.

Confession #2: I love Will Ferrell. He cracks me up and I can't wait to see the new movie.
