- The fire made the front page of the neighborhood paper, but, it won't be available online for a week or something. If you know where I live, you can't miss it. Busy Boy is the "neighbor who rounded up the dogs" in the story. The pictures are actually toward the end of the fire.
- I'm at the bagel place, and, the smallest kid just walked in, and, the guy behind the counter said, "The usual?" I see no parent anywhere.
- I just looked up away from my computer to think of a word, and, realized I was staring straight at some woman. I think I scared her.
- There's a family I know in here, and, the mom and the four kids are sitting in a booth having a snack, and, a normal conversation. We could never do that, where did I go wrong? Let's begin with the "sitting" part.
- I have no shame or pride. Vote for me here, help me at least stay above the fold.
- The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby just had a physical. He's gained 2 pounds in a year. I gained 2 pounds writing this entry.

How I know....my daughter has weighed 42 pounds for about three years and here I am creeping up on a daily basis. Sometimes I think I'm doing all this growing on her behalf.

Kids are so grown up these days. Why is it that my kids could recognize the Starbucks logo before they could speak in full sentences?

That's why I haven't posted an entry about how I've lost 8 pounds since I started training for the American Lung Association's fundraising Bike Trek in Maine.
