Ouch. My eyes are watering just thinking about that!
Can I laugh behind my hand?
When my son was little he visited a neighbors garden. He touched the hot peppers (he'd been told not to) and then wiped his runny nose with his hand (he'd been told not to). A call to the E.R. taught us that milk neutralizes the chemicals in hot peppers.
Finally, a REASON for a milk moustache!
