Still rockin' the stereotype

Today was mostly soccer.

The Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby did play his game with his arm taped up, and things went quite well for his last game of the season.

His arm is much better this evening.

Busy Girl had her last game, too. They won 9-3. They've got the tournament next week, and, then she's done playing soccer forever.

Can you believe that?

She's decided to work on basketball and volleyball, instead.

Lift your glass, and, make a toast to her getting a lot taller this year.

*non-sequitur*non-sequitur*non-sequitur*non-sequitur*

Hey, where's the best place to get a 2.5" hard drive enclosure?

Anyway...

I know it's not even Mother's Day yet (and, a big thank you to those of you who have sent such kind words), but, there's a couple of really cool books over at Busy Mom Reviews that would make good graduation, and, Father's Day gifts.

Go find out how to handle a naked roommate, and,
what's dangerous about being a boy.

MacAlly or Wiebetech for the enclosures

Dangerous to be a boy, huh? Do you know that Dar Williams song -- "When I Was A Boy"? If not, you should check it out... it's right up that alley, although in a more poignant, less all-out-fun way than the book you reviewed.

Done with soccer, huh? Sounds like you're mourning it a little -- how's *she* feeling about it? Or do you know yet?

Done with soccer?! I think you are heading to uncharted waters. But, Busygirl is an athlete, and I expect she'll excel regardless of which sport she chooses, And just think, mostly volleyball and basketball are INDOOR sports, no playing in the rain or cold. I'll bet you're liking that!!

I had a dream last night you lost your laptop. Nightmare.

Just popped over to wish you a VERY Happy Mother's Day. I'll go check out the books, too!

Happy Mother's Day to you Busy Mom! Done.with.soccer!?! You lucky lady.

TigerDirect or Buy.com for the hard drive enclosure. Although if you have a Staples nearby, while it would be a couple of dollars more expensive, you would save the time and shipping costs (it is only nominally more expensive).
