I use Wal-Mart every now and again. But, my husband likes to use Limewire and get it for free. That rebel.

I use YouTube a lot, too, and then go to http://vixy.net to convert them into a form you can put on my iPod. Vixy will convert from other video sites, too!

(Ah, I know, sort of. But you're better off not worrying about downloading and using up bandwidth and all that stuff. Maybe.)

The best place is definitely gomusic.ru a Russian website where you pre-pay for music and then download however many mp3s you want. I'd highly recommend it.

We use Limewire here. It works with iTunes, if that's what you use as an MP3 player.

I got one word for you.....Limwire. Or is that two words?? It is the bomb and I love it greatly. The only thing is this...after you download songs, if the fuzz comes a knockin at your door asking if you've seen me, tell em' I moved to Kalamazoo and I have sworn off downloading any more Barry Manilow!

LIMEWIRE!

DO NOT use LIMEWIRE (unless you are a big fan of getting Virii on your computer).

If you are going to look "gray market" go with one of the many Bittorrent clients out there (I personally use uTorrent, but YMMV).

If you want videos that are optimized for an iPod (or any small device really), then check out ipod.tv

Other than that (for you know... legal versions), it really depends on what device you want to play the videos on as all the usual DRM issues come into play.
