Mystery Dinner Theater Part the SecondWelcome to the newest episode of Mystery Dinner Theater.
This week, our heroine, Busy Mom, doesn't even have her older children there to buffer the evening's mystery.
She must face her MIL head on as the 5 year old is no help, as he really doesn't care what's for dinner as long as it's chicken noodle soup, lots of it, and, NOW!
Stay tuned, this is only the second episode in the summer lineup, there's two more to go before September.
Only on Busymom.net!
(Hey, y'all (that was for you, Jay) (Hey my parentheses have parentheses now, that's a record for even me) come visit me at GenBetween and Career and Kids, OK? Thanks. Love ya. Mean it. Stay sweet.)

"Don't ever change!"
Errr, that's a lot of MIL, isn't it? I'm just sayin...
You (forgot) to tell (whether) MIL (likes (or doesn't like)) chicken soup.
My MIL "tidy's up" so well for me that I never find things again. I still can't find my favorite hairbrush that I've had for 10 years!

Kids are such comfort zone creator. I took my 4 month old to his well baby check-up today sans the older two. Well, turns out the older two do lots of cute stuff in front of the doc and keep me feeling cool. With only a slobbery 4 month old I felt much more self conscious today. Why is that?
OK, so the only thing missing from this post is an "I do declare" type statement and an offer of Sweet Tea!
(Did I mention how when I was in Florida, that I forgot that "Iced Tea" apparently means "Sweet Tea "to you southern folks, and nearly sent this Yankee into Sugar Shock.)
