BlogHer Bound

Off to Chicago for BlogHer!

This is my first time, I don't know what to expect, but, I think it'll be fun.

Y'all be good until I can get back to my computer.

In the meantime, let's play "I'm Going to a Cocktail Party".

Respond with a drink that begins with each letter of the alphabet in order.

I'll go first.

I'm going to a cocktail party, and I'm having: an "Apple Martini".

OK, your turn, just go in order, start with "B". Drinks of any type will do.

"I'm going to a cocktail party, and, I'm having..."

I was hoping for H - so I could have a Harvey Walbanger, but I was beaten to the punch. I'll have to go with something tropical to go with the heat.

Island Blossom

Ingredients:
- pre-marinate fresh fruit pieces with lime juice and Malibu passion fruit rum
- 1 part pomegranate juice
- 1 part orange juice
- 1/4 part simple syrup
- 1/2 part Soho lychee liqueur
- 2 parts Tezon Blanco tequila

What with all this fru-fru stuff...
Bring on a Jack & Coke for me! ;-)

I'm going to a cocktail party and I'm having a Virgin Daiquiri ... which sounds about like what I'd actually be having.

I am having a Whop Me Down Sweet Jesus:

1oz vodka
1oz gin
1oz light rum
1oz tequila
1oz triple sec
1 1/2 oz blue curacao
splash each of sweet and sour and 7-up!

I'm having an X.Y.Z. Cocktail:

1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 oz rum
0.5 oz triple sec

I can't think of a drink with X so I'll go on to Y. And since I only drink beer, I'm having a Yuengling. (oldest brewery in the nation, from Philly) it's delicious stuff, but I can't get it here in WA.

I guess that leaves Z...how about some lame Zinfandel?

There's one in every crowd...

HAVE FUN!

Shoot, always a day late and a dollar short. Have a great time at Blogher.

Is it too late to drink some Anchor Steam Beer?

I say let's go around again! I'll have a Bacardi and coke (actually, I'll give it to someone else and then I something I like)

A Crown & Coke!

Darn! I'm a Day late and a Dollar short and I Don't Drink alcohol! I hate Dew, perhaps I can invent my own Drink and call it Dog Drool.

I guess then I will have an elegant egg nog :)

I'll have a Fuzzy Navel!
