This looks like a real post, but...Dear The Store:
You and I both know that your "Surprisingly Low Price" with the sale-like markings, is not really a sale price.
Must we keep playing this game?
Thanks,
Busy Mom

I have only one store in mind. But, I could be wrong.
Surprisingly low prices are a joke. I agree let's quick this song and dance, it's really tiring!
They like to fool the fools. And there are lots of them out there. Stores and people.
too.funny.
You are clearly not the target audience for such signs, since you are not their true demographic, you see, you have a brain, and they really don't care much for shoppers that have those.
Dear Busy Mom,
Anything that's marked as a "rollback" is also not really a sale but generally just a "we're going to mark $.04 off this to be able to say we're lowering prices" rip off that can be purchased elsewhere for 1/3rd the cost.

I hear you :) Even here in Oz they try the same thing. And when you lift the 'sale' tag the price underneath is EXACTLY THE SAME. They are just counting on us mums to be sleep deprived or shopping with toddlers with a death wish and to be too frazzled to notice......
great
