Coffee of the Day: Maxwell House, I think. Not bad, but, swamp water compared to the Mexican espresso coffee we've been buying.

In other news, my hair isn't standing on end this morning, and, my skin isn't crawling.

Coincidence? You decide.

Today's Mental Jukebox Selection: Summer Love by Justin Timberlake.

Can I get a hearty "wtf?" for that one?

Reading: Not nearly enough of the books stacked up for review.

Thinking: I sure hope we're not on the way to the Great Appliance Failure of 2007. Fridge is questionable, and, the upstairs HVAC unit crapped out.

Yes, it was on.

Fearing: the checking account balance from the above.

Wishing: We could get into a school day routine. Feels like we just jumped back into the chaos we abandoned back in May.

I hate starting out feeling out of control.

Wondering: What I should call The Not Yet Kindergartener Formerly Known as the Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby since he (finally) goes to kindergarten tomorrow.

I have a couple of ideas, though.

Dreading: This Saturday's schedule since both Busy Boy and Busy Girl have different football game schedules (she's a cheerleader) and the field is nowhere near our house.

Bye to the lazy days of summer.

Doing: a rain dance.

whoa..loving the JT tune, doing a stop the effn rain dance, and welcoming you to the world of "I have to choose a child to neglect" ..pick up your welcome packet at the front desk.

Usually, if alternating between the 2 games is not an option, I pick the one it's most imoportant to. Like this year oldest wins everything...because he is a senior. Good luck

Okay, so my suggestion on the naming issue is to temporally call him "the newly dubbed busy kindergardner" then after an adjustment period drop the "newly dubbed".

That out of control feeling... your body wants more diet coke. :)

I like "Busy K" for the kindergardener. But that's just me, sans coffee.

I am on pins and needles awaiting the unavailing of the new busy name. I am been reading since The Not Yet Kindergartener Formerly Known as the Preschooler Formerly Known as Busy Baby was actually known as Busy Baby.

Hope your appliance budget isn't too high and the days get a bit less hectic.

How about 'K-money?'. I don't know where that came from.

Dance faster, please!

How about "I make my mom feel old since I'm no longer Busy Baby" kindergartener?

kindergartener*
Yep, I can't spell.

The Ohio peeps say stop with the rain dancing already! It rained so hard the sewers backed up at work and they had to bring in porta-potties. Not fun.

Another vote for Busy-K. Unless he has to take a remedial kindgergarten class and then he can be Special-K

Obviously when I spell "kindergarten" like "kindgergarten" I am indeed the Special one!

Ah, the name update.

That's why I picked these names for my own brood when I started my blog: Older Daughter, Younger Daughter... Oldest Son, Middle Son, Youngest Son... no updates required... and grammatically correct.....

The drawback, I suppose, is that these might be considered boring names... but then, one can't have everything.....

I shall await the unveiling of the new handle. As long as it's not K-Fed....

How about Busy Lad?

TNYKFKTPFKBB...bet you thought that was just random strokes of the keys in front of me? Hey, atleast he wont have to write all that at the top of his paper in Kindergarten :-) Cannot wait to hear what the new name will be.

I will keep my fingers crossed that your appliances hold it all together.

may I suggest "Busy Boy Part II" (or version 2.0)?

I'm blaming you for all of our rain.

Maxwell House? Are you serious? OK, I am a coffee snob and frankly it has to be black and strong and MH does not get there.

On the TNYKFKATPFKBB, I thought the Busy Boy v 2.0 was a good choice.

Sorry about the appliances, but glad you clarified that the HVAC was ON because it was my first thought.

Doing the rain dance here in Atlanta too! Our creek dried up. I guess the plus side is the snakes have moved out -- although temporarily I'm sure!.

You could call him Tim.

Some of this sounds good--like the Mexican espresso. (but not the repairs and NOT the school schedule) In a couple of weeks, I'll be stressed to the max. Good luck on your schedule snafus. My husband and I had to split up for some of our kids' activities, since they ended up at the same time--but not the same place!

How about Busy Kid? Busy Boy 2.0? Lil Mr. Busy? Busy Body? The Biz? Bizzle? I could go on and on...it beats working.

I think you should refer to him like this "Busy boy, er, um, I mean Busy Girl. Oh, HELL, that third one I pushed out my vagina - what's his name again??"

I'm assuming that would map to reality closely.

Or is it just me? LOL

That JT song makes me gag. And so does summer ending school starting schedule stress. When is Christmas vacation?

Busy Bro or Busy Brother

How about Busy Booger? It's nicer than Busy Brat.

You can have all of the freaking rain we have been getting. If it continues I just might sprout flippers.

On the nickname: K-Man, Busy K, Kinderboy

The more people rain-dancing, the better. I'm ready for full school days again!
Oh, and not-quite-mexican-espresso-but-better-than-Maxwell-House-coffee? Seattle Mountain from Costco. They roast it right there and it's something like eight bucks for two and a half pounds.
