The difference between boys and girlsWhilst getting ready for school this morning:
Me: "Do you have gym clothes packed, or, do you already have some at school?"
Busy Girl: "Mine are at school, but, I guess I should bring them home to wash since I've worn them a few times."
Busy Boy: "Mine are at school, they're good though, I've only worn them about 5 times."

Yeah, if they're not crunchy yet, they don't need washing.
No surprise here. Boys will be boys.....
HA! Those boys, huh? Sometimes I think I should have been male.
I remember my brother's gym clothes being particularly nasty - he also used some of the same stuff for baseball practice. There was one week where he forgot to bring them home on Friday, and didn't bring them home until the next Friday - at which point they could've walked home by themselves.
Ew! Boys are so gross sometimes!!
My husband didn't wash his sheets on his bed in Iraq for at least 6 months. I'll say it for you: EWWWWWW! This is why marriage is a necessity for some people. Either that or we would be a nation of crusty sheets.
My son would take fresh gym clothes after about 4 weeks when I would insist on him taking them or me coming to the high school and going in the boys locker room and getting them.
At our house it would be the other way around. My boy is rather tidy, and likes to look good, while my girl is just gross sometimes. She doesn;t care if her feet stink (which they do) and her soccer cleats are an abomination.
Yep. That's the difference.
My youngest (male) child subscribed to the concept that Warm = Clean. Dryer-sheet-thingy plus gym clothes plus 5 minutes on high in the dryer and he was good-to-go. We intentionally kept him away from the microwave oven.
Sometimes you're lucky to get the boys gym clothes home for a wash once a semester!
Oh yes... and they're so "unpickky."
Do we go back to the "self-care" training bit? Reminds me of Tony when I saw him the day we brought him. He was still wearing his good church clothes, -uh at least I think that was his good shirt. I couldn't tell with all the food stains and dirt spread down the front. -ehhh. And embarressing. I made him change before he got into the van.
oh man..this is what I get to look forward too..eewwww
Hahahhaah!
