You oughta see what she knows about the shows she doesn't watch

I was watching The Biggest Loser, and, maybe shedding a tear or two at the end (shut up) when Busy Girl walked in:

Busy Girl: "Oh, I LOVE this show! It's like my favorite, I watch it all the time."

Me: "It's almost over, let's see which team wins."

Busy Girl: "Wait. Wait a minute. I get it now!"

Me; "What?"

Busy Girl:"'LOSER!' The 'biggest loser' is the one that loses the most weight!"

Me: "Um, yeah..."

Busy Girl: "I didn't know what that meant, I just thought it meant 'didn't win'."

Sadly, glad to know I wasn't the only one shedding a few tears over this! But funny about Busy Girl. I happen to also have that affliction called, "didn't make the obvious connection until way too late to be considered normal or sane." I can relate.

I didn't get it immediately either.

Love that show! I have it all tivo'd and ready to watch once I get the kiddos off to school today. Yay me :)

I had a genius like that too. Just think. In 5 short years they're gonna let her vote :-)

In Busy Girl's world, the biggest loser has nothing to do with weight loss, so you have to forgive her slow connection. In fact, I would bet we would not want to know how they judge that contest...talk about tears.

I wanna go on that show, but without all the cameras. Can someone come to my house and kick me into gear? PLEASE?????
No? I'll finish my Starbucks blueberry poundcake and grande mocha.

Typical teenage girl... always up for when someone's being dogged (showing my age I know) on TV!

Too funny!

Is it wrong that I watched that show with a bowl of snacks sitting next to me on the couch?

Remember the old Chrisitan bumper stickers from the late 70s or early 80s that said "I found it" ("It being a relationship with God)? Then some weight loss group made a bumper sticker that said "I Lost it". It didn't go over so well!

I still haven't seen that show yet. Is it worth watching?

It took me a while, too, to 'get' the name of the show. I like Fat March, too.

Excellent job.
