I am the world's worst meme-er.
Those of you who've tagged me for things, have probably already figured that out.
I read all of your tags, I get excited you've thought of me, I formulate an answer in my head, and, then my brain explodes.
Well, actually, it's more like I save your entries, and, then there they sit, all saved, and, stuff.
And, well, that's as far as I get.
I think I have meme procrastination paralysis.
Anyway, my friend Shai tagged me, and, I have decided to try to change my ways.
So, without further yammering, I present 7 (More) Things About Me:
1. I don't use musical ringtones on my cell phone.
Mostly because if my phone is set to play a song rather than ring, I never recognize it as my phone, and, I sit there wondering where that music is coming from.
2. I take my laptop computer way too many places.
As if you didn't already know that.
3. I love horseradish.
4. I have a cold.
5. I have a mean basketball hook shot. Too bad no one uses a hook shot anymore.
However, if a hook shot contest breaks out somewhere, I'm your man.
6. I am in serious need of a new laptop battery. I am asking Santa for one for Christmas. However, I have the feeling Santa will use my money for it, so, I should probably go ahead and buy one, so I don't have to try to type this fast.
7. I have an excessive love of travel sized toiletries from hotels. I have quite the collection.
This obsession is followed closely by my love for logo items such as pharmaceutical company coffee mugs, or, t-shirts from convention exhibitors.

Wow, you'd love my job! Everything I own has a random logo on it. Even my glassware. My company does lots of logo stuff for other companies, so I get the runoff. It's sort of embarrassing to put out glassware for company and nothing matches! But at least no one gets their beverages confused...
Let me know when you get to the right side of the auditorium? Or is it the theatre? Anyway, when you get to the aisle row, call me out.

Re: the logo items. Are these ones that you acquire yourself from vendors/conventions are do you accept them someone who maybe wants to get rid of stuff?
You would've loved the mortician's conference I went to a few years ago. Free t-shirts with "1-800-AUTOPSY" on them were going like hotcakes. Not kidding. I wasn't sure where I'd wear the t-shirt so I went for one of their keychains.

Do you travel a lot with your laptop while working? Or do you just use it at home?
I'll not worry about you until you write about a hook shot that involves a laptop. And the 'travel sized toiletries' thing is bound to be Freudian. *grin*
I LOVE travel-sized toiletries from hotels too! I have bags of them. This summer I decided I needed to use some of them. I am 2 bags down and 1 more to go! I have never met anyone with my same, strange 'collection' tastes.

I love the hotel goodies, and horseradish. I'm not so fond of the logo stuff, unless it brings back good memories.
I'll have to remember the hook shot thing. Maybe we could get a pick up game going at BlogHer next year.

I'm a planner. I have a will drawn up, a health directive, temporary custody papers drawn up so my kids don't go into foster care should Angelo and I are unable to care for them for a short time.. Everyone should have a will and health directive drawn up. Trust me, it saves a lot of stress and heartache. I know.
