Do as I say and not as I doDear Busy Mom:
I know you live in the South, but, let's remember it's November.
Even if the day starts out fairly warm, it's not likely to stay that way, especially when it's raining.
Therefore, you should put more clothes on before you leave the house in the morning, or, be prepared to answer "nowhere" all day at work when people ask, "Where are you going?" because you have a coat on.
Please note the irony of, just this morning, you telling your children to take a sweatshirt with them since it's November, and, "you never know what the weather's going to do."
I remind because I care.
Regards,
Busy Mom

I did the same thing and felt like a dork shivering in my rainboots and thin shirt. The boys sure were warm, though!
LOL!!!
It is starting out at 40 going up to 68 and back down to 40. I can't figure out how to dress!!
Poor Busy Mom.
You may of seen this, but thought I would share. For all you moms.

Dear VJ,
Please remember you live in the Midwest. It snows in the midwest - that is what those white flakes are coming down. And, since it appears you forgot, snow is COLD. So please, be sure to wear shoes and socks when you go out to wait for the dog to do his business. Wearing something on top of that t-shirt will help, too.
Perhaps next time when you wear the proper clothing you won't be fighing that sore throat and raspy voice you have now.

My son went to school in shorts this morning as I was bundled up in a sweatshirt and jacket (low 40's, darn cold for us southerners). I asked him if he wasn't going to be cold today. "No, it is always warm in the school." he replied. Either they pipe in the air from south Florida or all those teen hormoes cause the internal heat at the school to increase.
The midwest is no picnic either. When it comes to the weather, if you do not like it give it 20 minutes it will change.
Thank you.
Okay, I live in Michigan and we have at least 6 inches of snow and more coming down as I type. I just saw a mom at Wal-mart wearing flip flops but her kids looked like they were ready for a blizzard! Come on!
LOL! Thanks for the laugh! I'm in Colorado and I seem to think I'm somewhere warmer, whenever I go out...I always forget my coat. Bad, bad, bad! Have a great week!
Whenn Scout was a teen he wore shorts all winter long. We live in cental Maine, but he was too cool to be cold.
I need to remember a flashlight for when I leave work after 4 pm. I wear dark colors, and the lighting in our rural area is... ecocomical?
yep, that's me. I rarely dress correctly. I'm either over dressed or under dressed. But I never miss an opportunity to nag the kids about dressing warm enough!
I'm all about the contradictions.
I always do the same thing too, sometimes sweaters feel just so bulky and I want to wear my "cute shirt" that doesn't have the built in warmth of a sheep. I should know better, I really should...but I never listen.
Just to let you know... your website looks extremely odd in Chameleon on a mac
