Dan Fogelberg died

Dan Fogelberg died?

I had forgotten he was sick.

I'm very sad, I'm of the age where hismusic was very important to me.

They don't make 'em like that anymore.

Rest in peace.

I just heard too. :(

How sad. I really like his music.

I loved his music, and the man. I listened to him all the time in college, and had every one of his albums. I knew he was seriously sick, but it's still hard to imagine such a young man(in my view) dying. He made some beautiful music.

I was just at the website and it is a poignant reminder to get those exams that we all hate to get, isn't it? May he live on in his music and his message.

A very talented man. I have had his lyrics running through my head since I heard the news. I too am sad.

me too. i loved his stuff. I remember owning Twin Sons of Different Mothers with Tim Weisberg. It was a favourite.

It's sad that the younger set hasn't even heard of him.

It's sadder because omfg how much older can I possibly get?

I was shocked, too. I don't think I'd ever heard that he was fighting cancer. I still have several of his albums on vinyl.

I hadn't heard. He'll be missed.

Cas
I didn't know he was ill.

I danced to "Longer" with my dad at my wedding.

I was sad to hear the news as well. I loved his music. And leader of the Band makes me cry every darn time.

My boss just told me about this, this morning. I was sad too. :(

While I was sad to hear the news I was also sad to hear Leader of the Band in its entirety while trying to keep up a 7 minute mile pace on the treadmill this morning. Everyone else in the gym was content to hum along but I was just itching to change the station. I loved his music too but not as motivational exercise ballads.

He was a favorite of mine back in the, um, when he was popular. Like Amy, I had a real heart for the song "Longer". That one took me back to that day and age. "longer" than I care to remember, even if it makes me smile a little. When he had one of his first hits, I went back and listened to his old stuff. I was great. We will miss him.
