You just have to laugh at the footnote in that story about Lynne Spears' parenting book being put on hold. First, the idea of the mother of the white trash princess writing a parenting book is the definition of absurdity. Second, the irony of the project being put on hold on the occassion of this announcement is not lost on me. This is going to give the late night folks (Jay Leno, David Letterman, et al) plenty to talk about. You just don't need writers to make this schtictk funny.
