No Faith, thoughFrom the "Well, That Was Strange" files:
We went to a basketball game tonight at Busy Dad's school.
I noticed Busy Girl walking across the lobby, and, I had to talk to her, so, I went another way to the spot where I anticipated she'd end up.
When I got there, and, she wasn't there, I looked back to see if I could find her.
I found her.
There she was, chatting up Tim McGraw.

Oooh brush with fame! I've never met anyone famous at all - mind if I live vicariously through your daughter? ;-)
As in HE WAS THERE?! Wow, I love him.
*squeal* Was he nice? I hope she didn't try to touch him or Faith might be jumping all over Busy Girl. ;)
She wasn't texting him?
O M G Busy girl is sure lucky. Did you swoon when you saw him?
Wow! How cool!
I'm sure she handled it with coolness and collectivity...unlike the rest of us who would be piercing the decibel scale and attacking the poor man.
Ah...a country singer...that would explain why I've never heard of him.
Do his kids go to Busy Dad's school? How cool!
My daughter has a field hockey game. The person there that most people will want to talk to is most likely whoever is running the concession stand.
NO WAY! That's SO cool! :)
But here's the question: Did she realize it was Tim?
I would always meet people in Nashville when I worked at Starbucks, but I usually didn't recognize them. Then my coworkers would start freaking out after they left, and I'm like, "What?"
How cool is that?! I *love* Tim McGraw! Mm-mm-good! :-)
Well, you DO live in that neck of the woods, and he IS a country singer. Oops, did I just stereotype you? I'm sorry.
Oh, a former student of mine, her web blog name is Abundant Life just moved to your area.

Would you be so kind as to give her a welcome? Thanks.
Wow!! More details, please! He's adorable!
That's awesome. I saw the Faith Hill/ Tim McGraw family on vacation once (they were eating pizza next to us) and they just seemed so NORMAL.
I would've handled the situation very maturely by knocking my daughter down & begging him to leave Faith for me. I assume since there is no breaking news of Tim & Faith putting a restraining order on a world famous blogger - you are much more mature than I. (at that moment)
What cho talkin' 'bout Willis????
As the THE Tim McGraw?
Shut. Up.
You need a better entry than this one to explain that story fuller, please.
If Busy Girl were my DD, I'd hip-check her out of the way to get to him.
Wow.
