This has been one of those weeks where I really have no idea what I've done.
Despite Tuesday not being as super as it's billing, and, wondering if we were going to get blown away by a tornado, the week's been neither good nor, bad, really.
It's just that if someone asked me what I've been doing lately, I really have no idea.
I go to work, then I, um...do stuff and chase the kids to bed. Then I do it again.
I'm pretty sure I've been busy doing whatever it is I do, but, dang if I can name anything specific.
It's kind of like when you break that $20 bill in your wallet.
Once it's broken, it's game on, it's gone in a flash, and, even though you're pretty sure it wasn't stolen, you can't really name what you spent it on.
/deep thoughts

Deep thoughts, indeed. That sounds like how it is around here-busy, busy, busy, but I have no clue what I've done!
Sounds like pretty much any given week of my life!
C'mon, sing along with me now:
"I'm busy, busy,
frightfully busy
You've no idea what I have to do
Busy, busy,
shockingly busy
Much. much too busy for you..."
I'm with you on the 20 dollar bill theory. If it's broken, it's gone.
I have that same thing with a ten-dollar bill. I never had a twenty.
Well done, Jack Handey.
Thanks for the thoughtful entry.
Now I gotta go and do... stuff...with those other people who live in my house... and take them places...and buy some things... and well, you know.
I so understand what you're saying! I recently posted something similar the other day ("Just Another Day in Paradise"). It's like we're on auto pilot sometimes, and don't even notice what's going on...
Ha ha ha! SO true - my non-mommy friends ask what I've been up to lately. Hmmmm... changing diapers and ummm, hmmmm, playing I guess.
A week went by? What was I doing? I missed it! Oh, yes, I was taking care of a sick husband and trying to ward off the germs myself. No wonder I'm tired.
What a write!! Very informative and easy to understand. Looking for more such posts!! Do you have a twitter or a facebook?
I recommended it on stumbleupon. The only thing that it's missing is a bit of color. However thank you for this information.
