They make me happy today, that's important.
In poking around Ye Olde Internets here at lunch, I'm finding I'm distracted by the many and varied news items of the day.
I mean, who can concentrate on writing about aging, working parents (not to be confused with aging working parents), or, a Valentine's Day gift for the man in your life, when (Warning! PG 13 ahead) Jane Fonda is uttering the "c" with an "unt" word on the Today Show?
How can I write anything interesting when Harrison Ford and the release of the (has sound) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull movie trailer is all over the place?
Wait, on second thought, I just found the next two posts for GenBetween...
In other news, it looks like our friend Danny Noriega made it to the American Idol Top 24, and, judging from the comments on that entry, he's gaining quite the fan club, but, there's apparently quite the outcry because the homeless young man with the inexplicable British accent, Josiah Leming, didn't make it.
I'm going to end up watching this damn show, aren't I?
We won't even get into the Sports Illustrated Swim Suit issue thing, since, I'm pretty sure this will be the first year I can't have it in the house, what with a teen girl (head off any potential body image issues!) and a preteen boy (don't want to know what I'm averting here!).

I have very, uh, vivid memories of the Swimsuit Issue when what's-her-name had the see through swimsuit and a big grin ("I didn't know it was see-through" was the old "I thought I put my underwear on before going to the club")
Anyway, I was at the orthodontist, getting things tightened or twisted or otherwise tortured, and this magazine was one of the few things to ease my pain.
No, no point, really. You say Indy is still making movies? I thought he retired...
Jane is too old to know what she's doing. That's the same excuse I always use.
Don't blame ya for skipping on the SI Swimsuit issue! LOL!
