OK, so where did we leave off In the Tale of Busy Mom's respiratory failure?
Oh, yes, I was in Cincinnati, home of some delicious Graeter's Ice Cream.
I tell you about that (I also still have to tell you about the rest BlogHer, but the statute of limitations in talking about that may have already run out) as soon as I can get my thoughts together, but overall, I was feeling pretty good, save a cough or two (or three, or four, or five...).
OK, so you wouldn't have wanted to have been in the next hotel room over from me.
Anyway, I came home Tuesday night and went to work as usual on Wednesday (yesterday) morning.
I'm still a little wheezy in the mornings, but not too bad, so I felt fine to go to work. Actually, I've never really felt "ill" with any of this.
I walked into my office, and started coughing, and pretty much never stopped.
I went outside for a bit and felt OK, went back in and it started over.
I called my doctor, and since Jesus Himself has to wait 6 weeks to get an appointment, I wasn't too optimistic, but I left a message with the nurse that I needed to be seen that day.
No call came, so I just went on home and continued coughing.
I began wheezing and couldn't sleep, so I got up about 12:30am and went back to the ER where I stayed until 7:30 this morning.
They think I have bronchitis even though I had my 3rd clear chest x-ray.
They talked blood clot on the lung again, but I know I don't have one, and they weren't convinced either and I didn't think I could be still for the CAT scan, so I didn't get one.
You think you have "the crazy"?
I had a 3 hour breathing treatment, couldn't even sit on the bed afterward, had to pace like a drug addict.
I came on home and slept a bit and have felt pretty good today, just a little foggy from my 3rd narcotic cough medicine.
I called my doctor again today and still no call back from the nurse, but they did helpfully offer me an appointment on August 18th.
I guess I'm getting a new doctor.
So, if I can sleep tonight, I guess I'll try the work thing tomorrow.
I have an air filter thingy, so I'll haul it there with me and see if that helps.
I'm wondering if my problem was less my office and more the fact that my last day on steroids was the day before.
I'm back on steroids now, puffy face commencing momentarily.

yeah, get a new doctor. aug 18th is a joke!!!
I know you know doctors, but still...the Heritage Clinic, between Baptist and Centennial, is fantastic. I've always been able to get in the day I feel sick. Always. And the doctors are great.
Your Google ads are frightening-Don't Look!!
I'm so sorry that this crap won't go away. And yes, new doctor, STAT!
I'm on day 2 of some roids now. I feel your pain.
I think that I'll go home and paint the house and re-tile the kitchen floor.
UGH. I hope you feel better soon.
Im sorry you feel so bad. Your doctor is awful. I hate those guys
Hope you feel better :)

That really stinks! Hope you're better soon.
Tell this cough enough already! Headless Mom’s comment made me laugh however; I was thinking that as well.
I hope you feel better! And I hope your family is taking care of you!
I always dream that one of these days when I'm sick, someone will bring me a bell to ring to call on them and fluff my pillows occasionally. I can dream, can't I?
Get well soon!
All problems will disappear if you drink orange juice and bow to the Messiah, Obama.
Good Lord, woman! You must get well. Enough with all of the traveling already! Hey, did you see yourself in the picture in the NY Times on BlogHer's site? You go, girl! This will be a long copy/paste, but hopefully it will work!

Get better!
Molly
This sounds like my December and January where I just couldn't shake the crud. It was so frustrating, but honestly I think yours is more intense. I hope they figure it out soon!
Good God woman, any better yet?
A little?
How about 'not worse', I'd settle for that.
Bet you would too, poor BM.
Hoping you are breathing like a... (insert whatever metaphor here that would represent something that breathes really, really easily).
I hope you feel better soon. I have a mild case of asthma that has had its ups and downs over the years, and not being able to breathe? Well, it just kind of stinks.
OTOH, Graeters? That would help. That would help a lot! Yum. Boulders of chocolate. Costs a fortune to ship though, not that I would know about that.
Dang, just reading your last few entries is making ME wheeze! Cut it out and get better already! (And DO get a new doctor - Sheesh!)
