New Orleans Friend UpdateNew Orleans Friend and her family arrived in town after a 17 hour drive (usually takes 9-10) yesterday.
They ended up staying a few miles from here and we're getting ready to go see them.
Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers and stuff.
They don't really have much news from home, just kind of a wait and see thing right now.

WHEW Glad they made it.
I am glad to hear that New Orleans family has arrived safely. I actually came here just to check on them.
Glad to hear NOF and family are safe. Warm and dry thoughts to you all.
Good! Was wondering how that worked out.
So glad to hear they made it safely!
Wonderful that people in a situation like that have people like you. Glad they're doing well and in excellent hands.
Good to hear your friends are doing well. And it is good to know they have friends like you to help them out in tough situations like this.
I'm sure it was a harrowing trip. Glad they made it safely.

I will keep your friend and her family in my prayers.
Dear Busy Mom, It has been a while since you have posted and I hope that you have just been busy (and in a good way!) and that you were not put off by that evil troll from last week. I, for one, love hearing about your family's goings on in the always humorous way it is presented and I've missed you this week. Love, Amy
If that was Hanna, they prolly did just fine. I sincerely hope trhey're not hiding from Ike. Bummer.
Why is Developing a Mosque at Ground Zero simply being allowed to happen? I have not heard anything so quite ridiculous in all my entire life. If this at any time approaches reality, It will probably be the hardest situation ever. aileen
