In honor of this strange light in the sky, I shall blog.

We've not seen the sun here in a couple of years, months, weeks or something, so this is most unfamiliar.

OK, that and I'm trying to distract myself from the Titans-Colts game.

Unbelievable.

I know it makes no difference for the playoffs, but still...

I am, however watching the game in my new Chris Johnson jersey.

Christmas was low key, but nice enough. I hope you and yours had a nice time.

We did the usual stuff, but this was the year I finally got the beef tenderloin right.

It was amazing. I love me.

Now we're dealing with the restlessness of vacation.

MIL is here, kids itching to go somewhere, house needs cleaning, you know the drill.

I gotta go back to work tomorrow, doesn't sound so bad, actually.

Busy D. has basketball practice today. I really need to persuade him to do a layup.

He can do it, but he won't.

His patented "free for all" long shot is a crowd pleaser, but this year he's not the only one on the team who can play the game, so he needs to step up and do it right.

Busy Girl has a couple of days of volleyball ahead of her.

I owe them a payment, but accidentally spent the money on Christmas.

That will be interesting,

Perhaps I will send her with a bag over her head, and they won't know it's her.

No plans for New Year's, even if we had a sitter, I don't know what we'd do.

Sad, really.

I'm counting down the days to my annual Girls Beach Trip (our 10th year!) next month.

I take you guys every year, so pack lightly, choose a travel buddy and prepare to board my suitcase in a couple of weeks.
