So, no sign of the dogs yet. Thanks for you kind words, everyone.
We did get one call that was a credible sighting, not far from our house, but by the time we got there, they were nowhere to be found.
We're down to one pet right now, and that's very odd, as we usually have 5 or 6.
The hardest part is that the dogs were Busy Boy's and Busy D.'s. They're sad, but OK.
We thought our remaining dog would be kind of down since she's a little older, and she's never been alone.
However? She is totally digging her only dog-ness.
She is so sweet and such a good girl, she kind of got overshadowed by the rowdy boys.
Now, she smiles and is actually been playful.
She's also being spoiled rotten by the whole over-compensating family.
Still, I'd trade it to have the boys back.
Callie, however, wants you to know that she respectfully disagrees.
Since they've been gone, it seems like everyone is talking about dogs.
Magazines, news, TV and blogs, every time I turn around it's about dogs or pets.
Or, maybe it just seems that way.
Other than that, I'm recovering from whatever I had earlier in the week.
I'm not sick anymore, but have been left with some odd symptoms.
Mainly a killer headache and the weird sensation of when I drink water, it feels like it's landing directly in my stomach.
Weird, I know.
In other riveting news, I bought a set of sheets.
In my youth, I was all about linens and I had quite the collection of towels and sheets.
However, they all got old at the same time, and then kids came along and we couldn't afford such luxuries.
I thought about it, and we''ve been using the same two sets for I'm not sure how long, and one set became unusable with holes.
So, I threw caution to the wind and bought new ones on a whim.
'Cause that's how I roll, yo.

As random as the sheet thing is, I totally relate. Kids = less money = who needs new sheets? :) The way you roll cracked me up ():o)
Hoping the wayward sons make it back to you soon.
New sheets are THE BEST...been so very, very long since I have known that feeling.
Sorry about your puppies...maybe they're off somewhere having a Disney-fied adventure in 3D HD to be released only in theatres Christmas 2010?
It could happen...
*hugs*
Hope your doggies are back by now! I'm stopping by from Twitter, since I did @ you for the wrong site! Nice blog too btw!
