I finally have an Outer 13 Year Old BoyBusy Boy (back from camp, yay!) and I were watching Ninja Warrior and a commercial for Universal Technical Institute came on.
Me:"'UTI'? Really? They named a school UTI?"
Busy Boy: "What?"
Me: "That usually stands for urinary tract infection."
Busy Boy: "Eew. That's like going to 'Bowel Movement Academy'."

I saw the same commercial Thursday with my husband. I tried to explain the significance of UTI and how that was therefore a terrible name for a school, and he completely failed to get it.
Bless his heart.
I didn't see the commercial but it sounds like a terrible name for a school.
Enjoyed stopping by your blog
Cheers,
Anita
Really enjoyed this! Well done!
And my son wants to go there. Should I pick up a UTI Mom shirt? Always enjoy your blog.
HAHA! He has your sense of humor!
Apple doesn't fall far from the tree, does it?
I have an outer 13 year old boy too and he makes me laugh constantly. I really enjoy his sense of humor. Sometimes I roll my eyes at him but I always end up laughing.
ain't it grand!
oh, and I heard they pulled a fast one off on some kid and saif they were brothers!!
oh, and cute puppies! too cute, in fact!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
LOL. He's quick! But you're totally right: What were they thinking?!
Also wanted to let you know I sent you an email...just in case it ends up in your spam folder. ;)
And the slogan on BMA's sweatshirt?
"Do a BM. You'll feel better."
We have so many initial combinations which mean something to us that we often laugh. Our teens play at least two or three videogames which recall some particularly nasty disease.
And some of the text message lingo? If these teens knew what I knew they'd be embarrassed. Or maybe not.
There is a UTI school not too far from us and I'm always horrified by the name. Seriously, who thought this up? And why were that not scolded and stopped?
BM Academy is fantastic, by the way. Hilarious.
I snorted when I read this.

Sounds like something that you might hear at MY house.
Bowel Movement Academy... thats great.. and gross... all at the same time.
Ok, I just laughed out loud at work and officially outed myself as reading blogs right in front of my boss. (although it didn't stop me from commenting did it?)
Too funny. Kids say the best things. You can't make up that stuff!
OK, that is hilarious. Thanks for the laugh :)
BMA is just great. Had a great laugh. Always like stopping by your blog. This is Victoria from Israeli Uncensored News.
