I somehow managed to screw up the three days of NaBloPoMo I promised.
We did, however actually start our Christmas shopping online, which it totally not like us.
I hope this isn't one of those things where I feel all smug and satisfied for starting the shopping and then end up not resuming it until December 22nd or something.
I'm still not convinced that it's a "thing", but I'll check out Cyber Monday stuff at Amazonanyway, since I'm on an online shopping roll.
Do you have any favorite places to peruse on Cyber Monday?
Other than that, today has been spent cleaning the house before Busy Girl's literature group came over to film The Cask of Amontillado for school.
We have a very Edgar Allen Poe-vian dirt basement, so our house was the natural choice.
However, some of the outside scenes they shot have cars zooming by in the background, so I'm thinking it may have reduced it's authenticiness.
I can make up words if I want.
I blog for meeee! This is my space!!
Holidays ought to come with a bonus Un-Day to get ready for the next week because I've done nothing to prepare for real life today.

I want an un-day too! I am so not ready for reality tomorrow.
I am doing all my shopping online this year, mostly because I am a rotten time manager and when I finally slow down enough to actually think about shopping, it is 11pm and all the stores are closed.
My first big score: xbox 360 elite holiday bundle at Dell for $269. That saved me $30 from the Walmart/Best Buy price. I love to save money. So, although it is an obscenely expensive gift, I did save money...that's good, right?
Amazon is by far my favorite shopping site for deals. A lot of the Cyber Monday deals are already up.
You are so right. This is your space and we can make up all the words we want. LOL.
Un-day? Brilliant!
And. my blog's header wants to go shopping with your header. Say, around 11:00 ish? :+)
The internet- one of man's (and woman's) greatest gifts. LOL.
Ditto on the bonus Un-Day! I feel that way after trips, too.
p.s. saw your Tweet about the dryer. Did you see that Mom Central was taking applications for round 2 electric boogaloo appliance reviewers? Not sure if it is still going on but you should check that out!
Great description on your basement! I, myself, have what we think looks like a 'rape room' but I try not to scare folks so I never take them down there.
It's just because I haven't cleaned up all the blood yet.
KIDDING.
That blood comes out with the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. That thing is awesome.
I do most of my christmas shopping online now. Generally from lakeside.com and amazon.com, with an occasional target, walmart, ebay or bestbuy order. It's just easier, especially when sites have free shipping. Why battle traffic, lines and over buying?
I found your blog on google and really like it. I hope you don't mind me stopping in from time to time or adding you to my blog roll.
