Sorry, been waiting for written approval of a unicorn before I could post again, that's what took so long, really.
They are so hard to get hold of, ya know?
Let's see, where did we leave off?
Busy Girl's face didn't rot off, she is healing nicely, though a certain plastic surgeon is suspicious she was playing volleyball sorta kinda against orders.
That suspicion may or may not be actually be a bit founded, I'll never tell.
Volleyball is getting geared up again, which for the uninitiated, means I have time on my hands 3 times a week to regale you with tales of the gym and of the road.
I know! Isn't it grand?
Savor this, my little digital pumpkins, for she will have a driver's license by the time the next season rolls around, and I will not have to drive the 60 miles 3 times a week.
Speaking of driver's licenses, she's doing well with her permit, though I have my doubts (she will disagree, and may even do so on here because I'm pretty sure she and her friends are reading. Hi, guys!) that she understands all the physics of a motorized vehicle.
Guess what tomorrow is?
My annual girl's trip to the beach.
Get a travel buddy and be in my suitcase by 9am tomorrow if you want to go. We have to go to work first, but we'll leave in the late afternoon.
Those of you who are old hands at this, tell the new guys what they're supposed to do.
I have a boatload of stuff I need to do before then that is obviously not gonna get done, mainly because I can't feel my fingers.
She's at a new volleyball club this season, and, holy honkers, this place is cold!
Dang, I shoulda brought my little TV, I want to see how Ellen does on American Idol.
Starving, I'm also starving.
More later, but like I said somewhere else, secure your breakables, I'm gonna start exercising. More on that later, but I'm in an exercise challenge, so I gotta, you know exercise and eat right and stuff.
Only 2 months and 30 days to go.

My soccer player is driving this year and it has REALLY changed my life. I have so much more free time...not that I am doing anything constructive with said free time. Mostly I read, and the house doesn"t look any better. But, I am not in the car as much, and so that is nice. Now if I can just get the marching band kid to drive...
You're not missing Ellen tonight.
Have fun with the gals!
Oooooh, beach trip. West, east, or south?
Stick your toes in the sand for me..you are going to one of my favorite places!
p.s. glad Busy Girl's surgery went well and that's over before your trip
I am packed and ready. I virtually go with you every year.
Glad BG face is healing. I hate my hands to be cold so I feel for you.
I heart being a digital pumpkin. Made my day.
I'm not packing my swim suit this year - I never take the cover-up off anyway or get in the water so, why bother pretending. I am hopeful that someone will bring extra margarita fixings because we ran out last year just after you packed us up and I have to say - margarita's during the return trip is what makes it okay to return to the real world.

DAMN, missed the boat AGAIN!!! Oh well. Have a great time and SO glad to hear that Busy Girl is doing well.
My oldest is getting her permit, like, yesterday and, well, can I borrow your unicorn while you're gone?
You guys all get to ride in an outside pocket this year for hanging with me for so long.
Have a great time!
The girls' trip sounds lovely! Have a great time.
Wheee! Girls trip! love, Digital Pumpkin from Boston xo
Whew! And just in time too...I was needing some time away.
Great post, very informative, thank you for sharing!
Thanks for taking the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love learning more on this topic. If possible, as you gain expertise, would you mind updating your blog with extra information? It is extremely helpful for me.
It seems like Bud Selig's stupitidity will continue to haunt baseball. The trial is set for April 5. Another baseball season starts with PEDs as a major topic of conversation. Great idea the Mitchelll report. It was supposed to put the Seroid issue behind us but it seems to have put it front and center, year after year......:-)
Good points thanks!
