Busy Mom's (No) Tea Tour

I have been meaning to get that last whiny post off the top for, uh 5 days now.

It did, however lead to my losing my "meet for coffee" virginity.

Since then, I have met Cheryl AND Laura for coffee.

OK, Laura and I both had iced tea if you want to get all technical about it, but we still "met for coffee", and I'm sticking to it.

But still...friends I can see and touch!

I think I'll make this a regular thing.

I will travel all over the country meeting other bloggers for coffee.

Why didn't anyone think of this before? I am brilliant.

I think will call it Busy Mom's (No) Tea Tour, it'll be the talk of the Internet.

Alright, you got me. There's no way I can go without iced tea.

I think my next tour stop will be in New York in a couple of weeks, I wonder if I can find anyone there?

Yes, I am going to BlogHer.

Every year, I feel bad if I talk too much about it here since there is always some BlogHer fatigue leading up to it, and most certainly afterward.

But, that's what I'm doing, and I'm looking forward to it, so I may tell you about it.

However, I may also tell you about brushing the dogs and getting so much hair that I made a 4th dog out of it.

Hard to tell what you'll get over here.

We have some great sweet tea in Florence... Feel free to stop by anytime. I will even PAY for your tea. (Not your travel or anything... but the tea.)

I'm in NYC from Aug. 16-20, apartment hunting for our older daughter who was wait listed for housing at Columbia. Kind of stressful, I might need stronger than coffee. :)

I was seriously sitting there for like 10 minutes thinking, OMG! OMG! I'm having coffee with Busymom! ;) I hope I didn't sound stupid.

I AM a fan of getting coffee tho. And lunch, too. I love lunch. I was talking with a friend the other day, and I said, you know, I am an introvert, but I do NOT understand the people who say they don't have time to do things like that.

Have a great trip!!

I seem to go for errands a lot at lunch lately...blech.

I brushed our Akita mix Saturday and I could have made a 5th dog friend for your 4th dog. Couldn't believe the dog hair!

I'll host a stop of that tour!

Memphis. Coffee. At a volleyball game.

I certainly hope I qualify for a stop on the (No) Tea Tour. I am also going to BlogHer, but I figure you will be so inundated with all those that want to be exposed to your fabulous-ness (not to mention the parties that everybody but me seems to be invited to), that I may have to wait on the sidelines, and hope for a separate pass of the tour.

"friends I can see and touch!" Even with the Internet and social media, in-person interaction is still so important!

One of these years I am going to make it to BlogHer for sure. In the meanwhile, add San Diego to your tour and I will meet you for tea!

Coffee was fun! And, yes, we need to do it again soon. :-D

Busy Mom, I am SURE that you've always wanted to see Detroit and its suburbs. I know of some pretty fab coffee (and iced tea) houses. I know other bloggers who would attend too. You just let us know when you're up "north".

You know, Jersey is just over the river from NYC and we could always take quick visit to Liberty State Park (Jersey City) buy a cup of caw-fee on the ferry ride over and cross NJ off your list :)

[sound of crickets chirping]

Or, um, not, I'm easy!

If you ever make it to Houston, I'll buy you lunch! It seems I will never make it to BlogHer, but I am here!
