Back to life, back to realityI made it back from my girls' trip safe and sound last night.
I enjoy it so much, but it always goes so fast.
In some ways, it feel like forever before it will roll around again next year, and in other ways each year we go, it seems like we just went.
I think they call that whole freaky time observation thing, "old age", no?
Maybe I'll just keep that to myself.
Anyhooters...
Today it was back to reality, and I nearly nodded off more than once, I was so tired.
Man, the other drivers were kinda pissy about it, too.

Welcome back. I hate that part of vacation- coming home. It's almost like you'll need a vacation from your vacation! BOO to that! Hope things get back to normal soon for you! xo
Re-entry hurts. Sounds like you had a good time (as usual) welcome back!
I maintain that there needs to be a vacation period to recover from one's vacation. Welcome home to the reality from which you hoped to escape. Funny how it finds you eventually...
I try to schedule an extra day off work even though I'm back in town. I've even started admitting it to the people I work for. Recovery is just as important as time away or it is all for nothing.
