Today is my Blogaversary.

9 years, to be precise.

(Note: if you're looking at the archives, you'll see they begin in April of 2003. I had a couple of urls before this one, so you'll just have to trust me.)

I'm not sure what I can say that I haven't said the other 8 years, but I never dreamed that day I opened a Blogspot account and chose "Busy Mom" (because everything else I wanted had been taken already) would lead to everything I've been privileged enough to do here.

Thank you.

I don't even remember! I just remember being really mad that it took me 2-3 tries to get something.

CONGRATS! 9 years is a long time- I have been doing it for 8 years now and it's crazy how much blogging has changed- some for the better, some for the worst, yet I always keep coming back to it!

I read very few blogs, so I don't know what the difference is between "old style" and what's going on now. I suspect it has to do with the fact that the most controversial topic I can recall from your blog was the "correct" way to load a dishwasher. Really kicked the hornets' nest there! That's why I follow along, anyway. Just for fun. Guaranteed.

I was actually just browsing around and began to read your blog. It is really interesting because I just started a blog myself about being a busy mom wanted to link up with other busy moms that go through the daily grind that we all go through. It is funny because I am married, we have five children, we both work and I am going to college full time to become a nurse. How crazy is it that I came across your specific blog and that we have alot in common already and just crossed each others paths. Well I see it is your birthday so I will say Happy Birthday to u Busy Mom from a Busy Mom. I have three girls and two boys all under ten years old. Maybe you could give me some advice on how to get a blog off and running or just someone to gossip with that has just as busy of a life as I do.
