Life Well Lived: Spring trends

What will you be wearing this year? What are your spring trends?

That's a timely question for me.

I started a new job a few months ago, and I have to dress like a grown-up, and I'm in need of new clothes.

I'm on a mission to wean myself from black and brown, so I'll be wearing actual colors.

While I'll never be a slave to fashion, orange is really big this season, so I might check that out in perhaps some accessories or accent pieces as I live in Tennessee, and head to to orange screams, "GO, VOLS!"

What about you? Are you going to try something new to wear this spring?

I guess I'm a step ahead of you, because all of my clothes are dark blue and dark green - and those count as colors, right?

I can't remember who I'm stealing this from on Twitter, but loved it: the main factor in deciding what to wear today is who saw me yesterday. :)

Orange? Really? Eesh.

I love orange for flowers, but not on me. I tend toward many shades of blue, black, dark brown, green with floral tops. I wear lots of capris in the spring too. :)

I've been doing orange in accessories and some tiny pops of color in shoes. I can't bring myself to wear it on my upper half yet. Corals, yellows, and ELECTRIC colors are all the rage. I do the corals & yellows because I am sporting a tan and have red hair but I am still kind of scared of the electric colors for anything other than accessories or shoes! :) Ask Kalisa- she is a fashion GENIUS!

Yes, orange it's nice, I like it too! I just hate it when my husband calls me ponkan( it is a Chinese honey orange) LOl! I also like pastel colors because it is cool to the eyes.
