In 2007 we paid a large amount of money (about $2600.00) for our 3 & 1/2 year old to get into modeling. This paid for classes. We also had to pay $6.00 each time we parked in downtown Pittsburgh when we went there. Because this was for her education & in hopes of her getting a job/work, I was hoping this was deductable.
As of yet she has received no income from this.
Any info would be greatly appreciated!!!!

I thinking of leasing a house with the option to buy in two years. For tax purposes is it better to rent or to lease.
Thanks

I have a question. If I am paying my child's grandmother to babysit - (she is being paid by the State because I had to go back to school). Would she be taxed for that money? It is 180.00 a month. Under $2000.00 a year. She draws SS and is in her 70's.

I have been collecting disability for a year. Do I still need to file a tax return? What do I put for an income if I do. Is disability going to send me records to show that I collected ? H & R Block usully does my return...for a fee. Do I need to use them? I obviously can't afford to this year.....but I want to do my taxes correctly.
I'm confused!!!!!

Is there a renter's tax credit which I can file on my income tax or does the fact that I am in a 7 year relationship with my partner allow me to claim our house on my filing, although I am not on the deed
