Skinny Cow, products favored by dieters with a sweet tooth, has a new ice cream bar, Skinny Dippers, and I got some to try out.

Skinny Dippers are an ice cream bar with the end covered in chocolate, and one bar contains only 80 calories and 3 grams of fat.

I'm not much for pretend ice cream and other diet "treats", but I have enjoyed Skinny Cow's ice cream sandwiches, so I was glad to give these a try.

Know what? They taste like real ice cream and chocolate. I liked both the caramel and the mint. The serving is one bar, and, it was really enough, I didn't feel "cheated" or anything.

But, the real test was the fact that the 2 boxes lasted less than 24 hours in our house because the kids devoured the rest not knowing anything was "different" about them and they asked why we didn't have any more.

Skinny Dippers have 2 grams of fiber and are only 1 Weight Watchers POINT. They come in caramel and mint flavors.
