The Smart Shopper is an electronic grocery list maker.
It's a lot of fun, all you do is press and speak want to put on the list, and it puts it on your list. When you are ready to go to the store, you just print it and it's already organized your list by department.
There's an extensive list (over 2,500) of items already in the Smart Shopper, or you can add your own custom items. You can even say when you have a coupon for something, and it will print as a reminder on your list.
You can also record your errand list in the Smart Shopper.
It can be mounted on the wall, or it has built in magnet and sticks very securely to the refrigerator.
We have really enjoyed it, the kids have had a ball and it would be a great idea to bookmark where to get more paper until the novelty wears off a bit since everyone will be talking to your fridge and printing from the Smart Shopper.
Be sure to follow Smart Shopper on Twitter, too!
It's on sale for $79.99 right now, but guess what? I'm giving one away to a lucky reader.
1 Leave a comment to be entered. Twitter about it if you love me, since this will be a quick contest.
2. Since it's so close to Christmas (ack), enter by Friday, December 19, 2008 10pm CST, 2009.
3. One winner will be drawn randomly on the same day by 11pm CST, and I will do my very best to get it to you by Christmas.

My mother in law has one of these and loves it. My husband thinks it is the coolest thing ever and adds random things to her list whenever we visit. This might even get my hubby to go to the store for me - he is such a gadget geek! (His dream is a frig that keeps an inventory and tells you when the milk is low...because you know it is difficult to open the door and look.)

Wonder if this would help me be more organized. I am always struck dumb in the store... unable to remember if I have Peaunt Butter in the pantry or not!

Does this thing read minds? Extremely disorganized and forgetful minds? Minds that go into Walmart to get cat food and coffee, and come out with $200 of stuff ... but no cat food and no coffee?

Yoo hoo! Remember me? Faithful minion, keeping lair clean and tidy, rubbed your feet the last time you attempted a world takeover with limited success? Yeah, thought that might ring a bell. Anyhoo, if minionship counts for anything, then I should be at the top of the list for this shiny gadget.........
Oooohhhh, shiny
Wha, huh? Oh sorry, easily distracted. Hence the need for this handy dandy gadget. With this, you'll never run out of necessities in the Lair again! I promise! Even the fancy foot rub cream... since I can add it to the shiny gadget's database..........
oooohhhhhhh shiny
Dang!!!! I hate it when that happens! So, get me the shiny gadget, I'll follow you everywhere, and be the best minion you've ever seen. I promise!
