I have 3 kids of different ages and interests. At this stage, 15,13 and 7, there's not a lot they can all do together that they truly enjoy, and when you do find something they all like, the cost tends to add up.
With the economy the way it is, families like ours are looking for fun things to do that won't break the bank. And, goodness knows, we all need more fun right about now.
Xbox can help with more fun time! At $299, it still seems expensive, but when you think about what you pay for family activities such as movies or bowling, an Xbox will pay for itself in no time.
You can even stream movies from your Netflix account though it (with Xbox LIVE) for even more time for fun. Pop your own popcorn and enjoy the fact you don't have to buy a $7 Coke because you're in the comfort of your own home.
I enjoy gaming, I grew up in the heyday of video arcades and I had one of the original Nintendos as an adult. We've had various gaming systems over the years, but I wasn't very familiar with the Xbox, and I was a little intimidated by it. But, there was no reason to be. I received one for review and it's great! The kids were already well versed in it, so I had/have some catching up to do.
It was pretty easy to get up and running and the graphics on the games are fabulous and there's lots of games to choose from. There's a ton of online stuff you can do with Xbox live. I'm still learning new things when I check it out, and it's definitely fun!

We purchased the "old" XBox years ago and it is malfunctioning like crazy, causing us to cry big fat tears of pain and sadness. Yes, our lives are that prioritized. ;-)
Seriously, though, I know what you mean when you say it's fun packed into package of awesome that doesn't keep asking for one more box of junior mints.
My son just learned how to play Need for Speed! Now if we had a system that would quit locking up and telling us there's an error....

My husband and I have been dying for a 360 for a long time. I know it sounds corny but we have the original xbox and would stay up all hours of the night playing Halo together and it's such a great memory! Halo 3 has been out for a while, but it was only made for the 360. I would love to be able to stay up late killing aliens with my husband again!

Wow! MY house could use an XBox for sure! We are not a 'gaming' family but I think it's time. I've got 3 big kids - 13,11,&10 and the parade of friends that always are attached to them. A XBox system might just be the trick to corralling the group into one space so that our newest addition - 14 months - can actually take a nap and give this tired Mom a break!

The winter gets cold and lonely as the caretaker for a boys summer camp. An Xbox would be the needed excitement I long for until my campers return and the summer begins. Then, the staff could enjoy the XBox when on their day off. Everybody wins at www.camparrowhead.org!

Well, I hate to be greedy but my family could really use some more fun. We have wanted wii for the last three years but other more practial purchases have trumped the wii purchase. My husband has also accepted a relocation and we will be moving across the state in the spring. With the added at home time while we are getting to know our surroundings we could sure use something to keep us busy.

My son who is a high school senior could use some more fun time. He is taking really hard classes, studying all the time, filling out college aps & volunteering his time. He coaches 4 yr old soccer in the spring & fall & volunteers at the church. All 5 of my kids would enjoy this, but he deserves some fun time :)

My family could use some more fun time.
The 2-year-old broke our current gaming system (a PS2) which we also used to watch DVDs just this morning. :(

My husband could use some fun time, he works so hard all day doing physical work, he would love to have fun time with an Xbox 360. Thanks for the opportunity.

My son broke his ankle last week and will be in a splint well into next year. He could certainly use some more fun. I could use some help distracting him.
