I'm actually not the healthiest eater - when I eat healthy on the go, it's because I grabbed a banana.

When I eat healthy its because of portion control, I wont eat out and eat a whole plate of food, i would divide it into 3 or 4 parts and only eat 1 part of it.

I pack a frozen greek yogurt and some kind of seasonal fruit. Also some homemde muesli and I'm good to go!
Love to go to Subway with the family before we go hiking to 'pack' a picnic!

I don't eat well on the go. :) But Subway is definitely where I go if I don't want junk. :)

I pack small bags of nuts, fruit, and veggies to keep in the diaper bag.

I eat well on the go by bringing my water bottle full of water with fiber powder mixed in, and I grab an apple or granola bar to carry with me, or if I have to stop for food, I usually get it at Subway because it's filling, healthy, quick, and tasty!

On the go- I usually pack a lunch. Sandwiches are always good, though salads have been my new thing. If I don't have time to pack, picking up a footlong at subway and eating half at a time (or a third) always works.

I am a big fan of Laughing Cow cheese wedges, and one is just perfect on a Wasa cracker. Very filling and you can fit a couple in a ziptop bag and they are sturdy enough to survive a trip to work in my purse!

I am an independent contractor on the rode a lot and I used to eat at all the fried places, but I got tired of hitting the afternoon crash! I now have Subway programmed in on the GPS and plan accordingly.

I am blessed with lugging around an active 8 month old, so everything has to be simple. I usually keep a bag of natural goldfish crackers or dried fruit mix on hand if we are out running errands.

Quite a few restaurants and fast food lines are out, as she or more importantly I do not have the patience required to go to them. This tends to keep our waistlines a bit more trim!

Almost everytime i'm on the go I go to Subway and get a meatball sub or a sub with chicken in it. and i'll usually get it in a meal so I will get 3 cookies and a fruit punch.

I eat Subway on the run! lol. When I am working late and I don't have time to grab dinner, I go to Subway. I am vegan, but I get the veggie and it's so yummy! Sometimes I add my own meat since I can't have theirs, adding variety to the mix!
AND there is a Subway HALF a block from where I live, so I am there constantly!
I also eat granola bars or any other type of bar that's thrown in my purse if I can't get food, or there isn't a Subway in sight.

I blend a bunch of fruit smoothies (with whey powder for protein) at the beginning of the week and put them in the freezer in paper cups. Then throughout the week I will put one in the microwave for 30-45 seconds to defrost them and it is enough for lunch or even if I'm just hankering something sweet! That's one way I eat healthy on the go. They are easy to take in the car and since they are icy they don't spill easily. Love them!

Eating good on the run does not come easy. In the summer when we go to race tracks I try and bring sandwiches or stop at the local subway instead of eating track food.

Eating Healthy on the Go:
I try to avoid fried food and if I KNOW I won't be able to visit for instance a Subway sandwich place I make sure to prepare something at home to bring with me.

Also, I know if I don't eat that..I will feel extra guilty and wasteful :)

I also try to know what goes into my food - another reason I like Subway.

I eat healthy on the go most of the time. I am on campus for school all the time, and I pack a lunch instead of eating nasty cafeteria food.

Example of a good lunch:

rye bread with mustard, lettuce, tomato, swiss cheese, and smoked turkey breast. Add a banana and a pint of milk (I buy that out of the vending machines!) and you are good to go! :)

Since Ash Wednesday I have been trying to hard to eat healthy on the go and at home. I have not head any bleached flour or rice which I have noticed has made a big change in how healthy I feel, less bloated and tired. It has been hard with the cravings, but it is a day at a time. Subway's options have really helped during those quick lunch hours.

Eatting Healthy on the go is definitely hard. I think the most important thing is to bring things from home, that way you won't be tempted to go to the drive thru. Before I go to work in the morning, I usually pack some strawberries for breakfast and pack some snacks. I also keep Healthy meals at work to prevent me from the unhealthy stuff.

If I want a change, Subway is definitely a great place to go. I love the subway melt. Their salads are great too. And now any sub being $5, it's a great deal.

I like subway cause you could pile and pile up all veggies you want- they r all fresh, yummy. Where can you find black olive, greenpeppers, and so forth on the sub that's fast-food resturant!? :) the line is never longer than 10 min. You get it right there when you are ordering.
