Pringles Multigrain Crisps

pringles%20multigrain.jpgPringles Multigrain are a new offering from the good folks at Pringles.

Pringles Multigrain come in three flavors: Cheesy Cheddar, Truly Original and Creamy Ranch, and we were sent samples of all three to try.

The first thing I noticed is that they were a little fragile, many of them were broken into small pieces upon arrival, but that doesn't stop us around here, it's just that they may be a little difficult to use in a thick dip, so proceed with caution, there.

They are the familiar Pringles shape, but they have a texture a bit like a tortilla chip, or maybe a Sun Chip. Though they contain no whole grains, the flavor is grainy, but not too strong.

Two of my kids liked them, the Cheesy Cheddar ones were the first to go. I like all three flavors, I'm not sure what's wrong with the 3rd kid ;)

Pringles Multigrain Crisps are an enjoyable snack, a twist on the familiar Pringles. Though they are somewhat lower in calories and fat that the original kind, they aren't meant to be health food, just something different for grain fans.

Be sure to check out Pringles' U Taste. We Donate campaign.

Enter the UPC code from any can of Pringles Multigrain between March 15 through June 30, 2010 at www.PringlesMultigrain.com and Pringles will donate one dollar (with a total donation of up to $100,000) to Share Our Strength®, the leading organization working to end childhood hunger in America.

I wrote this review while participating in a blog campaign by Mom Central on behalf of Pringles Multigrain and received a sample to facilitate my candid review. Mom Central sent me a gift card to thank me for taking the time to participate.”

Mrs. Prindables Jumbo Gourmet Caramel Apples

Several weeks ago, I had the opportunity to review Mrs. Prindables Jumbo Gourmet Caramel Apples through Momimpact.

And, well...

Holy Moly, that was a big apple.

Mrs. Prindables

OK, so I'm not a food photographer, you'll just have to take my word for it.

So, it was a big apple, packaged up all fancy, and I expected the requisite thin caramel coating, standard Halloween issue.

I was wrong, check out how thick this was:

Please refer to earlier statement about not being a food photographer.

Anyway, this was a HUGE, tart green apple, with a load of quality caramel and a chocolate coating covering it.

On a stick.

And, I ask you: What is better than food on a stick?

It was a great combination of tart and sweet, and didn't last long in our house, and It was absolutely delicious.

You should get one.

At $22.95 It's a little pricey for daily consumption, but would be a great hit for Father's Day or a memorable graduation gift.

Or, hey...my birthday is in September. Just sayin'.

No payment or compensation other than the product sample described above was received for this post. The thing was darned good, really.
