Well, then is a "community of people who inspire each other with ways to be well."
It's a simple, friendly community with short videos and articles by real people, just like us, on topics ranging from connecting with family, eating healthy and working smart, to tips on living with a chronic condition such as asthma and diabetes.
It's easy to use, there's a quick sign-up, and you can upload a short video or just write a tip under the proper area. It's a nice community, very welcoming and positive. For example, I submitted a post under "exercise" about trying yoga.
Take a look, you might find some helpful information, and even some friends there!
I was compensated for my initial participation on the site, but am under no obligation to give it a positive review. But, after becoming familiar with it, I thought you might like it, so I'm sharing. That's all. Really.

Eggland's Best "Pink Dozen" - How to tell if eggs are fresh
Sometimes, we haven't used eggs for a little while, or we have more than one carton going, and I'm not sure how long they've been in the refrigerator.
So, how do you know if they're fresh or not?
If you submerge an egg in water, it will sink to the bottom if it's fresh. If it stands up and bobs up and down on the bottom, it's not quite as fresh.
But, if it floats, the egg should be discarded.
So, how'd mine do?
Eggland's Best Eggs, a leader in quality and nutritious eggs, is partnering with the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month.
As part of the program, (has sound) Eggland’s Best has stamped the running Pink Ribbon logo alongside its EB logo on all sizes and varieties of EB eggs, as well as update its packaging to demonstrate this commitment.
I'm compensated as a part of Eggland's Best Pink Dozen, but I'm never told what to post or what to say, the words and opinions are mine. I do like the eggs, and thought you might like to check them out, too.

Earth Footwear Women's Acclaim Boot Giveaway
When I got asked to check out these boots from Earth Footwear, I didn't even make the connection.
When I was growing up, Earth Shoes were a symbol of "hippies", the funny looking (for the times) shoes that were higher in the front than in the back. They were supposed to be good for you, they "made your legs work" or something like that.
I had no idea this was the same company when I first heard of these boots, and all the other cute shoes, but it is, and they've been around for a long time.
Today, Earth Shoes have the same unique design, a 3.7 degree incline (the toes are higher than the heels) to realign your body and make walking more natural. The "anti-high heel", if you will.
The incline is said to help with toning your legs and the box even says, "Burn more calories with every step". I've not had mine long enough to study these benefits, but I figure it can't hurt anything, so why not? I felt a little tightness in my calves, but nothing uncomfortable or distracting.
Here's some more about Earth Footwear fitness benefits:
The Acclaim is a black, tall boot with adjustable buckles at the top, and the calf is even a little stretchy. It has the Earth Footwear 3.7 degree incline, but that part is on the inside, so the boot doesn't have an angled look to it on the outside. It has Earth's anatomic arch support, and BioFoam cushioning.
I have a lot of trouble with plantar fasciitis and with my knees, and so far, this boot has given great support, and I have been wearing them without any problems, and I've gotten lots of compliments on them, too!
These boots are true to size, but they may be wide-ish because I have wide feet, and there's plenty of width for me.
Aren't they great? Want to win some?
The giveaway:
Prize: One (1) pair of Women's Earth Footwear Acclaim boots (value: $189)
1. (Required): Leave a comment here telling me what you'd wear your Acclaim boots with

Carmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream Givwaway
This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Carmex. All opinions are 100% mine.
Carmex, the makers of the awesome lip balm that comes in the little white pot with the yellow top, or the bright yellow tube with the red top, has expanded their product line to skin care withCarmex Healing Lotion and Carmex Healing Cream and I received samples of both to try.
Winter is right around the corner, and indoor heat and outdoor cold can really do a number on your skin. I'm not one of those people who requires continuous moisturizing, but my legs tend to be dry in the winter and my heels and elbows have dry patches.
Carmex Healing Lotion comes in a cheery, yellow tube. It's got the familiar Carmex scent, sort of vanilla-y, so if you're not a fan of that, then the lotion may not be for you.
I happen to love it, so I was excited about the it. It's a light, non-greasy texture, absorbs easily and it's worked for me as well as the lip balm.
Carmex Healing Cream is a more intensive product for your driest areas such as heels or elbows. It has the familiar Carmex scent, too, but it's concentrated, so you just use a small amount.
I used it on my heels and elbows. It was lighter than I expected, not the usual texture of intensive creams that never really goes away and gets everywhere. It absorbed right away, and honestly? I have two stubborn dry patches on one heel and one elbow that are gone and nearly gone after 2 nights of use.
Who knew? I will very likely purchase these in the future.
Holiday gift idea from Pep Boys: Surf City Garage Car Care Products
The holidays are upon us, and it's time to start shopping. It's hard to think of new and interesting gift ideas, sometimes, and it can also be hard to shop for people who already have what they need *cough* my father *cough*.
I like to give car detailing gift certificates for Christmas. When you think about it, you spend a great deal of time in your car all year long, so a car-related gift could really come in handy.
I have a new driver in the family, so she spends a lot of time fussing with her car. She comes by it honestly, because I can spend lots of time browsing the auto accessories aisle in most any store, and once upon a time, I had the chance to wash my car more than once a year.
She also likes to keep her car really clean. As a matter of fact, she has declared that her car will "never be as dirty" as mine. Um, hello? Who do you think dirtied up mine?
Anyway, Pep Boys carries a lot of stuff to keep anyone's car clean.
I got to try out some great car care products from Surf City Garage.
I got a new (to me) car recently, and it's been a while since I've had a leather interior. I love it, and even though it's used, I try (I have 3 kids) to keep it looking nice, and the Voodoo Blend Leather Rejuvenator really did a great job, and it was easy to use.
Dash Away Interior Spray is great for the rest of the car for quick clean ups. I like it because it doesn't leave a film, and surfaces stay looking clean until the kids mess it up.
I love how new tires look (it's been a while since I've had some!), but they don't stay that way for long. I'd never used a product like this before, but Beyond Black Tire Pro makes tires look new and shiny, and it seriously does perk up the look of the entire care.
Why not give these products and more as a holiday gift? Many of us spend so much time in the car, it feels great when it looks nice.
The Surf City Garage Toolbox ($89.99) is available at Pep Boys and it would make a great holiday gift:
The Toolbox includes Dash Away Interior Detailer (24oz spray), Voodoo Blend Leather Rejuvenator (16oz), Pacific Blue Wash & Wax (16oz), Barrier Reef Carnauba Wax (16oz), Beyond Black Tire Pro (16 oz), Beyond Steel Wheel Cleaner(24 oz), Speed Demon Wax Detailer (24oz spray), Clearly Better Glass Cleaner (24oz spray), and 2 Nano-Detail Polishing Cloths.
Automotive items from Pep Boys just may fit your holiday shopping bill for service, tires, parts and accessories. Pep Boys Gift Cards would make a great gift for lots of people on your list.
Be sure to check out Pep Boys on Twitter and on Facebook.
This is a sponsored post on behalf of Pep Boys. But, as always, all opinions are 100% mine, and I really do like to give automotive products for gifts.
